How exciting; you’ve decided to take the next step in your home’s remodeling project! While scheduling your complimentary in-home consultation, here are a few details to keep in mind: What area of your home needs attention? What are your overall goals? Do you have a budget in mind? In-Home Consultation

During our complimentary in-home consultation, we’ll discuss the specific area that needs attention, your overall goals, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. During this meeting, we’ll also take measurements and several pictures to review with our design staff.

    Proposal

After we create a preliminary design of your space, we’ll be able to provide you with a “Ballpark” estimate. This will include cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, and any other items that were discussed during our initial consultation.

    Site Visit

We’ll introduce you to our field staff and subcontractors during an onsite walk through. During this time, we’ll take an in-depth evaluation of your space; including any structural and/or mechanical elements that may be involved.

    Design and Selections

Welcome to The Vision! You’ll enjoy meeting with our designers to finalize your designs and select your finishes. This process can be completed in one day or several weeks, depending on the complexity of your project.

    Contract

Once the final project cost is agreed upon, we will prepare a Construction Agreement and Scope of Work. These documents will outline the responsibilities of everyone involved in your project and will help you better understand what will take place.

At this time, we do require a significant deposit to cover all materials. This deposit will be held until the start of construction and will be followed by two or three other installments base on the size of your project.

    Construction

It typically takes three to five weeks to order and receive the necessary materials. Based on this lead time, and the lead time of our subcontractors, we’re usually ready to commence construction within six weeks of a signed contract.

We understand that construction can be a bit overwhelming, and it’s our goal to provide you with the smoothest and most efficient experience possible. To make that possible, your project manager, designer, and construction foreman will work closely together to ensure that things are progressing as planned.
